Share Your Story (이야기 )
What brings multiple communities together is more than one story. In the Join the Community section, you are invited to share your story and become part of this digital public history project. Similar to the Korean patchwork of sewing together pieces of textile for making a beautiful wrapping cloth for gift giving or display, also known as bo-ja-gee (보자기), this site begins the patchwork of stories and images from people like you who have a story to share.
Your contribution will become part of this digital bo-ja-gee, which will be shared with other viewers and contributors. It will be a gift to society and to this project site. Please consider contributing to the history and culture of Koreatowns in North Texas. Share your memories of Koreatown Dallas and/or Koreatown Carrollton or a memory of your Korean American experience in North Texas. If you would like to share a photo of your memory, please upload it to this site. Also, selfies are accepted. Your contribution is important because it builds the foundation for the culture and history of Koreatowns and Korean Americans in North Texas.
