Explore Koreatown Carrollton

Welcome to Koreatown Carrollton!  It is the second largest Koreatown in North Texas. Unlike Koreatown Dallas, the businesses and venues are located in the same area and not spread out between streets. When you visit this modern Koreatown, you will forget you are in Texas.

Explore Koreatown Dallas

Welcome to Koreatown Dallas! Less than 15 minutes from downtown Dallas, this unique Koreatown began with businesses owned mostly by first-generation Korean Americans in an area that is surrounded by a diverse community. Over the years, it has expanded with restaurants, discount stores, cafes, and more. Unlike Koreatown Carrollton, Koreatown Dallas is more spread out with businesses and venues located on different streets but not far apart.

Who's Who in the North Texas Korean American Communities

There are many Korean American communities throughout the North Texas area.  Many of the Koreans who migrated from South Korea before the 1990s have close connections with Korean churches. Some of them migrated to Texas for higher education.  Other Koreans migrated to Texas to provide a better life for their families.  In this exhibit, you will be introduced to Korean Americans from different generations (1st, 1.5, and 2nd) and learn about their journey to Texas and how they have contributed to their Korean American community.  You will also learn about some of their connections to the North Texas Koreatowns.
